Music In The City

Hey Neek fans,

I dont know if sometimes you feel like this, but recently Ive been feeling left out of the music loop! To the point where I seriously dont know what's in the charts...not knowing any potential decent artists on the rising from out of the underground...and just generally being a recluse with my dated itunes playlist on rotate! BUT Im snapping out of it! It feels good to re-establish my deep relationship with music; and I wont look lik a complete idiot on the dancefloor going "Um...What tune is this...?!" NOT COOL!

Anyway, went down to the bar/club Ruby Lo (near Marble Arch St) last night and it was on point. Havent ventured down here for a few years...back in the day they used to have breakdancers doing their stuff...the club was a bit grimey...but it worked. NOW- they've updated it and made it more sopisticated (above image) but it didnt ruin the atmosphere at all. The DJ was mashing up M.IA's 'Paper Planes' over a funk beat...a few Jackson 5 joints made an appearance over the speakers...and it had your usual dose of hip hop/old school tunes to satisfy most people.

Plus if you're a cheap arse like me- get in before 9pm for free entry! You gotta love the free entry! Check out their website for more info!
